Glencoe CampResort

The History of Glencoe

Named after a majestic valley in the Highlands of Scotland, Glencoe CampResort was established in the summer of 1983, in response to the need for clean, comfortable camping facilities in close proximity to the city of Sturgis. Still family owned and operated, Glencoe continues to expand and improve as Sturgis Bike Week grows in popularity.

Over the years Glencoe has seen many expansions and upgrades including the purchase of additional shaded acreage for camping, hundreds of new trees have been planted and everything from roads, to bathrooms, food stands and shower houses have all been upgraded to make your stay at Glencoe as comfortable and memorable as possible.

Glencoe CampResort is currently over 600 acres and features everything you need for Sturgis Bike Week. From the best tent camping and RV sites, to a full-service convenience store, plus shopping and entertainment at Thunder Road, it's no wonder Glencoe CampResort has been the home-away-from home for tens of thousands of bike week patrons for over 20 years.

Add to all of this the opening of the world's largest outdoor amphitheater featuring an unrivaled music lineup; you have the ideal all-inclusive Sturgis Bike Week destination. When making plans to take the ride to Sturgis Bike Week, we invite you to be a part of our extended family and join us for the experience of a lifetime by staying at Glencoe CampResort.
