Glencoe CampResort was established in the summer of 1983, in response to the critical need for clean and comfortable camping facilities close to Sturgis. Glencoe stands out by sticking to the original goals – to provide services geared specifically toward the biker at a fair and reasonable price. For over twenty years Glencoe has grown and evolved… as the number of campers increased, more property was purchased, more wells were drilled, more trees were planted, and more showers and toilets and picnic tables were added to meet the demand.

Still family owned and operated, Glencoe continues to expand and improve as Sturgis Bike Week grows. For those of us who live in Sturgis year round, and work year round toward that special two weeks out of the year, we are all members of the family we lovingly call The Glencoe Nation.

The Nation is currently over 900 acres and includes Glencoe CampResort, Kick Start Travel Center, Thunder Road, the Sturgis Dragway, Sturgis Bike Week Licensed Products, and Rock’n The Rally.
